Seed Bomb Coming!

Have you heard of a seed bomb? I just learned of them from my friend. Evidently, they are the new "thing".

You make a mixture of flower seeds with the right proportion of dirt, clay, and water (if you Google it, you can find a ton of "recipes" that people are using). Mix it together, shape it into a ball, let it dry, and tadaaaa!!...you have a seed bomb.

Apparently, you take the seed bombs and throw them into your desired "target area" (aka vacant lot, empty ditch, etc.). They shatter, break apart, and spread the seed in the area that they fall. Then you hope some rain falls and the seeds germinate, the plants take root and eventually bloom in beauty.

When my friend was telling me about this, I cracked up. What if the person who owned the spot of land was allergic to the flower you dispersed? It would be more like, "Hey, buddy...thanks for spreading the... *achoo*...joy!" Whoops.

But, I get it. The intent of a seed bomb is for good.

Make the world a better place. Make beauty where there isn't any. Bloom where there's blight. I get the picture.

I was thinking about these seed bombs the other day when I got the familiar and gentle nudge...and I knew where He was going.
